Journeys let you connect lots of different actions to orchestrate seamless brand interactions and joyful customer experiences. This article provides a basic overview of the different journey components you'll find in Studio and where to find more information on how to use them.

Tiles
Tiles are the individual steps or stages of a journey. There are six types of tiles:
- The Start tile
- Message tiles
- Delay tiles
- Filter tiles
- User Update tiles
- Integration tiles
The Start tile
Every journey begins with a Start tile. To learn about the Start tile, see Journey Setup: The Start Tile.
Message tiles
Message tiles send a message to users when they reach that stage of the journey.

Delay tiles
Delay tiles let you add pauses throughout a journey.

Filter tiles
Filter tiles let you send users down different paths in a journey based on their individual attributes and behavior.

Notes
Notes let you add comments and questions on a journey to collaborate with your teammates. Notes are internal only (your users won't ever see them).
