The Dashboard lets you monitor the performance of all your Iterable campaigns with drag-and-drop data visualization widgets.
This guide will walk you through how to set up your Iterable dashboard.

Add a widget
To get started, navigate to Insights > Dashboard and click Add Widget. Then, select a type of widget to add: Metric, Campaigns Table, or Markdown.
Metric
Metric widgets allow you to visualize a campaign metric such as Unique Clicks, Click Rate, etc. For more information on the metrics Iterable tracks, see Metric Definitions.
You can also choose a chart type:
The Area Chart, Bar Chart, Column Chart, Line Chart and Smooth Line Chart will allow you to set a Widget Name and a Y-Axis Label.
The Number Chart allows you to set a Trend Direction, Coloring and Sparkline. The Trend Direction allows you to set whether the metric you selected should trend upwards like Total Opens or downwards like Total Unsubscribes. The Sparkline toggle will allow you to display a line graph of performance over time in the bottom of the widget.
Campaign tables
Campaign Tables widgets allow you to display a list of your campaigns right on the dashboard. You can also select which columns you would like displayed as part of the table:
- ID
- Name
- State
- Medium
- Created
- Updated
Markdown
Markdown widgets allows you to add notes to your dashboard. Using Markdown you can format your notes quickly to create headers, lists, block quotes, code blocks, links and more. Learn more about Markdown here.
Updating your widgets
To move a widget around your dashboard, hover over the upper left-hand corner of the widget until your cursor transforms into a hand. Then click and drag the widget to the desired location.
To change the size of your widget, hover over the bottom right-hand corner of the widget until your cursor transforms into a downward diagonal arrow, and click and drag to expand or shrink the widget.
To edit a widget, hover over the upper right-hand corner of the widget and click the gear icon.
To delete a widget, hover over the upper right-hand corner of the widget and click the X icon.
Dashboard settings
You can customize the appearance and default date range of your dashboard.
Theme
In the Dashboard Settings menu, you can switch from the default light theme to a dark theme.
Default date range
The default date range is set to the last Month to Date. You can also select one of the other preset date ranges:
- Day-to-day metrics
- Monthly metrics
- Hourly metrics
Or you can set a custom date range by specifying the amount and unit of time (hours, days, weeks, months). Choosing an Exact start date means that the beginning of the time range will be set based off of the current day and hour. Choosing Start Of will round the start date and time to the beginning of the nearest unit (hour, day, week, month).
