The Movable Ink + Iterable integration lets you easily import the content blocks you've built in Movable Ink to the campaigns you set up in Iterable.
You can connect multiple Movable Ink accounts to your Iterable project. This means that the different members of your marketing team (who may have separate Movable Ink accounts and login credentials) can all connect to your project — so your team can access all your Movable Ink assets in one place.

-
In Iterable, click the Integrations tab and select Movable Ink from the dropdown.
-
The Movable Ink Integration page shows a list of the Movable Ink accounts your team has connected to Iterable. To add a new connection, click Add Movable Ink Connection.
-
If you're not already logged in to Movable Ink, an authentication prompt will open. Enter the login credentials for your Movable Ink account, and click Log In.
-
In the Add Movable Ink Connection menu that opens, enter a unique name that makes it easy for your team to identify which Movable Ink account you're connecting to, and enter the email you use to log in to your Movable Ink account (can only be used once per project). Click Add Connection.
Once at least one connection is set up for your project, you're ready to start importing Movable Ink content into your Iterable templates.
# Importing Movable Ink content into Iterable
You can import Movable Ink content into every template type supported in Iterable: email, WhatsApp, SMS, push, web push, and in-app. The integration works with all three of Iterable's supported template editors (WYSIWYG, Side By Side, and Drag and Drop), as well as the snippets editor and the Media URL and Icon input boxes in WhatsApp, SMS, Push, and Web Push templates.
Here's how to start using the integration to import Movable Ink content into Iterable:
Create or open the Iterable template or snippet that you wish to edit.
Click the Movable Ink button in the template editor, or drag a Movable Ink tile (Drag and Drop editor) onto the canvas.
-
In the Movable Ink Content panel, select the Movable Ink account connection that contains the content you want to add to your template or snippet.
-
If desired, use the search bar and the Campaigns dropdown to filter the list of available content blocks to find the one you're looking for.
NOTE
The search bar excludes some common words (like "the", "it, "this," etc.), which may occasionally cause a search to yield no results. If you encounter this issue, try rephrasing your search or adding additional context.
Click your desired content block to select it.
-
Edit the image URL, link URL, alt text, image dimensions, and custom styles as needed.
Click Save to add the content block to your template or snippet.
NOTE
You can also copy a content block's image tag from its Movable Ink campaign and
paste this tag directly into the source code of an Iterable template or snippet.
