A launch video is a realistic screen recording of your end-to-end RCS user experience. It is required for destination approval and helps reviewers verify that your sender functions as described in your destination approval form. Each video must be specific to the destination country where you plan to send.
IMPORTANT
Record and save your final video before you submit your destination for approval. Sender-page test numbers become unavailable when the sender reaches Partially approved. If a reviewer requests a replacement video after that point, contact your Iterable customer success manager. See RCS Registration: Testing an RCS Sender for test-number availability.

# Requirements
Record your sender sending messages to a real device. Screenshots, prototype mockups, or screen recordings of a desktop UI are not accepted.
Your launch video must show the full message flow you describe in your destination approval form. If you register a Multi-use sender, show both a promotional message and a transactional message, such as an order update or appointment reminder. Opt-in confirmations and HELP or STOP responses do not count as the transactional use case.

Include the following, in the order a real user would experience them:
# Opt-in experience
A landing page, form, or screen where users consent to receive messages from your sender.
Example: The sign-up page or app screen where a user checks the consent box or submits their opt-in.
# Opt-in response message
The confirmation message sent after a user opts in.
Example: Show the opt-in confirmation arriving on the same Verified test
device after the opt-in step.
# Representative messages
Messages that exactly match each example in your destination approval form. Every example in the form must appear in the launch video. If you use the Multi-use sender use case, include both transactional and promotional examples.
Example: Use Send test message from the sender page to send a test order update, account alert, or promotional message that matches the example text in your approval form.
# HELP response
What your sender responds when a user replies HELP.
Example: Show the tester sending HELP and the device receiving the help
response.
# Opt-out response
What your sender responds when a user replies STOP or another opt-out keyword.
Example: Show the tester sending STOP and the device receiving the
unsubscribe confirmation.
# Record a launch video
Use Send test message from the sender's detail page to record the opt-in experience and the messages that follow. You can't send from an RCS template or journey until the sender is launched. For HELP, STOP, and opt-in confirmation in the video, send those messages as Custom Text Message test sends.
Keep the video concise and make sure all message text is legible.
Add at least one test number and confirm it shows Verified status.
Open your phone's screen recording tool.
Start recording. Begin on your opt-in page or screen.
From Iterable, queue up your test messages in the order they should appear. Use Send test message from the sender page to send each one to your test device.
As messages arrive on the device, scroll and interact naturally.
Stop recording when you have captured the full flow.
Upload the recording to a publicly accessible location outside Iterable, such as a shared Google Drive folder. Anyone with the link must be able to view it without signing in.
Copy the public URL. You will paste this into the Sender launch video URL field in the destination approval form. See RCS Registration Reference for field details.
TIP
Before you submit the destination approval form, open the video URL in a private browser window to confirm it works without authentication.
