Destination approval is the formal submission to Google and mobile carriers for each country you want to send to. This guide covers the US approval path, which has the most detailed application.

# Preparing for RCS review
Launch requirements vary by country, provider, and traffic origin. Use RCS Registration Reference to prepare your answers. The reference is based on the US destination approval form, which is the most detailed. The form generated in Iterable lists the exact fields required for your selected destination.
Before you open the form, prepare:
- Public privacy policy and terms and conditions URLs
- A publicly accessible launch video URL
- Your opt-in URL or call-to-action screenshot
- Your opt-in confirmation, HELP, and opt-out response copy
- Campaign descriptions and message examples

# Submit an RCS destination
IMPORTANT
Save your work: The destination approval form does not autosave. Prepare all your answers in a separate document, and use Save as Draft frequently as you work. If you navigate away without saving, you will lose your progress.
- After you see a Google Agent ID on your sender's detail page, select Submit for Approval at the top of the page.
- From the Destination Country dropdown, select the country you want to submit for approval.
- Under Traffic Origin, select one of the following, then select Next:
- Local — You are sending to recipients in the same country as the country you're submitting for approval.
- International — You are sending to recipients in a different country than the country you're submitting for approval.
- Traffic origin can change the fields in the approval questionnaire.
- Complete all fields in the destination approval form. The form is returned
dynamically by the approval provider, so the field order may vary each time
it is generated.
- Use RCS Registration Reference to prepare your answers. The form generated in Iterable is the source of truth for the fields required for your selected destination.
- When all fields are complete, select Submit Destination to send the form to Google and carriers for review.
The destination appears in the Destinations section of your sender's detail page. If you save the form without submitting it, the destination status is Draft. After you submit, the status changes to Submitted, then to Pending when Google and carriers begin their review. The sender itself may still show Draft for up to about one week after you submit, even while the destination is Pending. That is expected. Check the destination status, not only the sender status.
