Iterable integrates with Crowdin, allowing you to easily translate and localize your multi-channel marketing templates.
With this integration, you can sync email, push, in-app, and SMS templates from your Iterable project to your Crowdin localization project—where you can translate and proofread your content with the help of translation memory (TM), machine translation (MT), translation agencies, and internal localization teams.
After your translations are complete, you can import your localized templates
into Iterable according to your project's locale settings (for example, you can
sync a French-language template to a project with the
fr locale enabled).
To connect Iterable to a Crowdin project, follow these steps:
Open your Crowdin project. In the top navigation bar, navigate to Resources. Then, find and select Marketplace:
In the Crowdin marketplace, search for
Iterable. When you find it, click the Install icon. Confirm which users and projects the integration will be enabled for, and click Install.
Now that you've installed the Iterable app, you can go to Integrations. Then, find Iterable in the list:
In Iterable, create a server-side API key and copy it. In the next step, you'll provide this API key to Crowdin.
Keep a copy of the API key in a safe location. Once you finish setting up this integration, you won't be able to see it again.
In your Crowdin browser tab (which should still be open to the Applications page), paste your Iterable API key in the Iterable API Key input. Then, click Log In With Iterable.
You're all set! You can now sync email, push, in-app, and SMS templates directly to your Crowdin project and import your translated content back into Iterable.
- We recommend that you only sync templates created with Iterable's WYSIWYG editor, not the drag-and-drop editor. For more information, please reach out to your Iterable customer success manager.
- When setting up your Iterable project locales, it's best to use standard ISO format. For more details, see Crowdin's supported language codes.
