Beefree + Iterable Integration

The Beefree + Iterable integration lets you import email designs to Iterable from Beefree in just a few clicks — making your email campaign management faster and more efficient.

NOTE

In order to use this integration, you will need a Beefree account with at least one completed email design.

Setup instructions

In Iterable

  1. Go to Integrations > API Keys.
  2. Click New API Key.
  3. Give your API key a name (for example, "Beefree Integration") and select Server-side.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Copy the API key to your clipboard.

IMPORTANT

API keys are only visible the first time you create them. Make sure to immediately copy the key and store it somewhere secure. If you lose it, you won't be able to retrieve it—you'll have to create a new one.

In Beefree

You can connect your Beefree account to Iterable through either your Beefree workspace settings or through the Export button in one of your Beefree email designs.

Connecting via the Settings menu

Follow these steps to connect your Beefree account to Iterable through your Beefree workspace settings:

  1. Log in to your Beefree account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click the Connectors tab.
  4. Find the Iterable connector in the list and click Connect.
  5. Enter the Iterable API key you created earlier.

Connecting while exporting a Beefree email design

Follow these steps to connect your Beefree account to Iterable while exporting one of your Beefree email designs:

  1. Log in to your Beefree account, and open the email design you wish to export.
  2. After making any necessary edits, click the Export button.
  3. Select the Push to Your Sending System option.
  4. Choose the Iterable Connector from the list.
  5. If it's your first time connecting, you will be prompted to enter your Iterable API key.

Once you've successfully connected your Iterable account to Beefree, you can start importing your email designs to Iterable from Beefree.

Importing emails to Iterable from Beefree

Once you've connected your Beefree account to Iterable, exporting your email designs is quick and easy:

  1. In Beefree, open the email design that you'd like to export.
  2. Make any final adjustments and save your changes, then click Export.
  3. Select Push to Your Sending System, and choose the Iterable Connector.
  4. Once you confirm the export, you'll receive a message that the email has been successfully exported to Iterable.
  5. Click the redirect link in the export menu to access your email in Iterable instantly.
  6. In Iterable, go to Content > Templates to see your imported Beefree email design.

Updating existing Iterable templates with the integration

If you already have email templates in Iterable that you'd like to update with this integration, follow these steps:

  1. In Beefree, open the email design that you wish to update.
  2. After making your changes, click Export.
  3. Select the Update Existing option to overwrite the previous version of the email template in Iterable.
  4. The updated email will retain any changes you made, including HTML, subject line, preheader, and UTMs.

NOTE

Once you've imported an email to Iterable from Beefree, you can make further edits to the template within Iterable. However, if you do this, your changes won't populate back to Beefree. To keep your Beefree content up to date, edit the email design in Beefree, and use the Update Existing option to send the updated version of your email to Iterable.
