The Inkit + Iterable integration lets you send direct mail from your Iterable journeys.
Using Inkit to send direct mail from Iterable journeys
To use Inkit to send direct mail from an Iterable journey, use a journey webhook. To create one, follow these steps:
-
Grab your Inkit API key and template ID. Your API key is on your Inkit dashboard, and you can find a template's ID in its URL. For example:
https://app.inkit.com/templates/design/35770a3f-9674-0cb9-222l-ba9905d8ba99
In Iterable, create a new journey webhook. To do this, navigate to Integrations > Journey Webhooks and clicking New Webhook.
-
For Destination, select Inkit. Iterable will pre-configure the journey webhook for you, so all you need to do is provide the missing values:
For the custom Authorization header, enter your Inkit API key.
For the
template_id
field, enter your Inkit template ID.Map the other Inkit fields to user profile values in your Iterable project. For example, you might map
first_name
to(if that's the field you use in Iterable to store first names).
After supplying values for all of Inkit's fields, click Create webhook.
Now, you can use add this journey webhook directly to your Iterable journeys.
