Iterable has partnered with Inkit to allow clients to seamlessly incorporate sending postcards with the rest of your digital engagement strategy.
#Automatically trigger direct mail sends in Iterable workflows
To integrate Iterable and Inkit, follow these steps:
Grab your API key and template ID from the Inkit dashboard.
The API key is on the dashboard.
The template ID can be found in the URL for each template. For example:
In Iterable, create a new workflow webhook by navigating to Workflows > Workflow Webhooks and clicking + New Webhook.
Fill in the webhook with the following details:
Content Type: FormURLEncoded
- Click CREATE WEBHOOK.
Scroll to the far right of the newly created webhook and click Edit to configure it further.
Add an HTTP header for the
Authorizationkey value pair, using your API key from Inkit as the value.
Add fields, mapping the recipient on the left to the Iterable user profile values on the right. Include
template_idto specify the template to send:
- country (must be a two-character code; for example,
- template_id (template ID from Inkit's end)
With the workflow configured, you're ready to start automating direct mail through Iterable workflows—using any actions or triggers you like.
