The Digioh + Iterable Integration lets you capture user emails, phone numbers, and behavioral and demographic data on your website and automatically add them to Iterable lists and journeys.
Ideal for generating newsletter subscriptions and more, Digioh supports popups, sidebars, banners, embedded forms, and exit intent triggers. For e-commerce, Digioh has features for cart abandonment, discount offers, and coupon codes. With this integration, you can configure Digioh lead capture forms to do the following in Iterable:
- Subscribe users to a static list
- Create/update a user’s profile in your project
- Update a user’s subscriptions
- Trigger custom tracking events

# Create an API key
To create an API key, go to Integrations > API Keys.
See Creating API Keys for detailed instructions on how to create, name, and store the API keys you need for authenticating with Iterable's partner platforms.
IMPORTANT
API keys are only visible the first time you create them. Make sure to immediately copy the key and store it somewhere secure. If you lose it, you won't be able to retrieve it—you'll have to create a new one.
# In Digioh
To connect your Iterable project to your Digioh account, create a new Iterable connection.
-
Sign into your Digioh account and select Integrations.
-
Scroll down to All Integrations, search for Iterable, and select Iterable.
Click Add New Connection.
-
Give the connection a name, and enter the API key you created in the previous step.
IMPORTANT
Do not expose or share this API key.
Select the user identifier your Iterable project uses:
email,userId, or both (hybrid).Click Save.
# Retrieved user profile fields
For security purposes, Digioh automatically restricts the data fields that can be retrieved from Iterable user profiles to the minimum that are needed to identify users and the lists, message types, and channels that they are subscribed to. This includes:
emailuserIdemailListIdssubscribedMessageTypeIdsunsubscribedMessageTypeIdsunsubscribedChannelIds
This restriction is enabled by default on all new Iterable connections set up in Digioh. However, if necessary, you can customize your connection to include more fields.
# Customizing retrieved user profile fields
If your team needs to retrieve additional user profile fields for targeting and personalization, you can customize your Iterable connection in Digioh. There are two options for doing this:
# Option 1: Configure additional profile fields to be included
If you only need to include a small number of additional fields, you can add them individually in the Include Profile Fields section.
In this example, the fields couponCode and couponAmount will be retrieved—in
addition to the default retrieved profile fields—for use in display rules and
personalizing campaigns.
# Option 2: Configure certain profile fields to be excluded
If you expect to use a wide variety of user profile fields for targeting and
personalization, it may be easier to configure Digioh to retrieve all available
fields, and exclude the ones you don't need. To do this, enter [ALL_FIELDS]
under Include Profile Fields, then for Exclude Profile Fields, enter the specific
data fields you want to exclude.
In this example, all available fields except for billing_address,
billing_city, billing_state, billing_zip, and birth_date will be
retrieved for user profiles.
