The BlueConic + Iterable integration lets you connect the customer data you store in BlueConic with the customer data you store in Iterable. Import customer data from BlueConic to Iterable, export customer data from Iterable to BlueConic, or both!

Setup instructions
In Iterable
- Go to Integrations > API Keys.
- Click New API Key.
- Give your API key a name (for example, "BlueConic Integration") and select Server-side.
- Click Create.
- Copy the API key to your clipboard.
NOTE
Copy your API key and store it in a secure location. After you finish setting it up, you won't be able to view it again. If you lose it, you'll have to create a new one.
In BlueConic
Click Connections > Add Connection.
Search for "Iterable" and click Iterable Connection.

Under Authentication, paste the Iterable API key that you created earlier.
(Optional) To receive notifications about how well the connection is running, click the Email notifications box.
(Optional) Click the gray arrow icon to expand or collapse available the available metadata fields (like labels and description).
Importing and exporting data with the integration
You can turn the Iterable connection on and off with the toggle at the top of the connection page in BlueConic. To start importing and exporting data, turn on the connection and click Save.
Each time you run the connection, you can import data from Iterable to BlueConic, export data from BlueConic to Iterable, or both. Use the checkboxes in the sidebar to activate or deactivate your goals.
NOTE
Since the steps for running this integration take place in BlueConic, we use the terms "export" and "import" to match what you'll see in the BlueConic interface.
Sending BlueConic data to Iterable
In BlueConic, select a segment to define the audience you want to export from BlueConic to Iterable.
Choose your Iterable list(s). Your export will add or remove subscribers from these lists, as well as update any user attributes you include in the export.

Link your BlueConic and Iterable identifiers. The connection allows you to select email or userId to align with your Iterable project type.

(Optional) Choose the BlueConic fields to include in the export, and select or create the corresponding Iterable field. You can export BlueConic profile properties, profile identifiers, associated segments, associated lifecycles, all viewed interactions, permission level, and any static text value.
Click Run the connection to start sending BlueConic data to Iterable.
Sending Iterable data to BlueConic
In BlueConic, select which Iterable user data you want to send from Iterable to BlueConic. You can choose all subscribers or specific Iterable lists.

Link your BlueConic and Iterable identifiers. The connection allows you to select email or userId to align with your Iterable project type.

(Optional) Choose the Iterable fields to include in the import. Select or create the corresponding BlueConic field. Click Add Mapping to include additional fields in the import.
Click Run the connection to start sending data from Iterable to BlueConic.
