# Viewing metrics for an RCS campaign
You can view delivery and performance metrics for an individual RCS campaign on its Campaign Analytics page. Open the campaign, then click View Analytics.
Campaign Analytics shows RCS delivery, bounce, read, click, reply, and unsubscribe metrics. Time series and segments default to:
- Total RCS Sends
- RCS Delivery Rate
Unsubscribe metrics use the same subscribe and unsubscribe events as other channels. See Subscribe and Unsubscribe Events and RCS Unsubscribe Rate.
For other definitions, see RCS metrics.
Campaign Analytics counts attempted sends and engagement. Usage and Billing counts delivered messages by billing type. Those totals often differ. See RCS campaign metrics vs Usage and Billing metrics.
# Viewing metrics for RCS campaigns sent in a journey
To view the message analytics for the campaign:
- Open the journey and click the RCS message tile.
- In the side panel for the RCS message settings, select View Campaign Analytics in the bottom right corner.
This takes you to the Messaging Insights view for the journey campaign you're inspecting.
# Messaging Insights for RCS campaigns
Messaging Insights includes RCS in the message medium filter. When you select RCS, the default metrics are Total RCS Sends, RCS Delivery Rate, Total RCS Reads, and RCS Click Rate. Then choose additional campaigns, metrics, and a date range.
To learn more about using Messaging Insights, see Messaging Insights.
# RCS events and metrics
RCS metrics are based on RCS system events. For event fields and bounce codes, see RCS System Events.
For metric formulas, see RCS metrics.
For example webhook payloads, see System Webhooks.
Messaging Insights reports replies as Total RCS Replies. Click metrics require Shorten and track on the template. Read metrics require the recipient's device to report a read receipt.
