field names still refer to them as "Workflows" (for example, workflowId
).
Continue to use the term "Workflows" in your API requests and responses.
Updated tile panel
We moved the tile panel to the right side of the canvas to give you more room to work.
Plus, we reorganized the layout to make it easier for you to find the tiles you use the most.
Combined tiles
We’ve combined some tiles to simplify the tile panel:
Old tiles | New tile |
---|---|
Modify Channel | Subscription preferences |
Modify Message Type | Subscription preferences |
Add to Facebook | Facebook audiences |
Remove from Facebook | Facebook audiences |
User Profile | User profile |
User Profile Webhook | User profile |
NOTE
The Facebook audiences tile is available to Iterable customers participating in the Facebook Custom Audiences for Journeys beta.
New Settings button
We added a Settings button to the lower-left corner of Studio.
Here, you’ll find all of the details about your journey:
- Name
- ID
- Description
- Total number of tiles
- Creation date and last modified date
You can also edit the journey name and description from this menu.
Editing a tile
We’ve reorganized and simplified the tile settings menus to make it easier for you to set up each step of your journey.
The Start tile
We moved the Maximum entries and Simultaneous entries settings to the Start tile.
You can now set up the Schedule entry source more than 21 days in advance.
Message tiles
Now you can update your STO settings at any time (even after the journey has been turned on).
You can also select the display priority level for your in-app messages.
Delay tiles
We’ve reorganized this menu and simplified some of the settings to make it easier to set up delays.
A/B Split tiles
We made it easier to set the percentages for each split.
Attribute Split tiles
We reorganized the layout of this settings menu to make it easier for you to set up different paths for your users.
Yes/No Split tiles
Now you can more easily select between two filtering options: filter by all user properties and events or only the event that triggers the journey.
Send to Journey tiles
Now you can easily select which journey to send your users to next, or create a new journey—right from the tile settings menu.
Add to List tiles
Now you can create a new list right within the tile.
Subscription Preferences tiles
Under each of your message channels, you’ll find a list of the associated message types.
Using the new Studio
We’ve reorganized the page layout and added some new features. Take a look!
Selecting multiple tiles
We removed the Select On/Off button. To select a group of tiles, hold the Shift button on your keyboard and click multiple tiles. Or hold Shift and use your mouse to draw a box around the group of tiles you want to select.
Aligning the tiles on the canvas
The Align all tiles button is now in the Manage menu.
Turning a journey on/off
The Enable/Disable button is now Turn on/Turn off.
Testing a journey
The Send Test Trigger button is now Test journey.
Viewing the users in a journey
Now you can easily see the number of users at each stage of your journey.
Want to know which users are at a particular stage of the journey? Click the person icon—a list of the users on that step will open in a new tab of your browser.
Zooming and scrolling
The Reset button is now called Zoom to fit. Click the zoom percentage button to select it.
Getting help
If you get stuck, click the Help button in the top right.
Submitting feedback
Have thoughts on the new Studio? Click the Feedback button to tell us what you think!
What’s new
We’ve added some new features we think you’ll love. Check it out!
Notes
Now you can add notes to your journeys to give your teammates tips about the journey’s steps or settings. Notes are only visible to members of your project—your customers won’t ever see them.
Use the Show/Hide Notes button to quickly toggle your notes on or off while you’re working.
Updated analytics
Now you can see campaign performance data (like total sends, delivery rate, open rate, and click rate) on the message tiles you’ve added to the canvas.
Target specific apps (in-app messages)
Now you can set up In-App message tiles to display a message in only some of your apps instead of all of them.
Save as image
Want to save a snapshot of your journey? Now you can!
Click Manage > Save as image to download a PNG image of your journey.
Search the canvas
Now you can search the canvas for a specific tile ID, campaign name, or performance metric. Click the magnifying glass in the upper right of Studio, then type your search terms into the box that appears.
