Enabling double-opt out adds an additional step to the unsubscribe process. When a user clicks on an unsubscribe link, they will be directed to this page:
By default, the page will ask the user, "Are you sure you want to unsubscribe?"
However, you can add a custom unsubscribe HTML snippet to personalize the page. For example:
Enable this feature in Settings > Project Settings:
By default, Iterable recommends a single opt-out unsubscribe process.
If you choose the double-opt out unsubscribe method, the redirect page to unsubscribe will not work in a proof.
