Enabling double-opt out adds an additional step to the unsubscribe process. When a user clicks on an unsubscribe link, they will be directed to a screen containing a message similar to the following:
It is possible to customize the message displayed on this screen. For example:
Enable this feature in Settings > Project Settings:
By default, Iterable recommends a single opt-out unsubscribe process.
NOTE
If you choose the double-opt out unsubscribe method, the redirect page to unsubscribe will not work in a proof.
When choosing to unsubscribe in a proof, you will receive this message:
