By pairing a dynamic list with a workflow triggered by a Scheduled Recurring List node, you can automate anniversary emails.
To start, you will need a date property on the user profile to create your dynamic list.
Follow these instructions to automate the sending of anniversary workflows:
Create a dynamic list
This dynamic list will use relative date properties to find all users who have a signup date on their user profile that is exactly one year ago. If you want to do a two-year anniversary, you would create another dynamic lists and change
2yin the relative date query.
Create a workflow with a Scheduled Recurring List trigger node
Next, create a workflow that is triggered by a scheduled recurring list. Trigger the workflow with the dynamic list that you created in step 1 and run it every morning.
Set a delay
If necessary, set a delay after the trigger node so that Iterable sends the email at a specific time in either the project's time zone or the recipient's time zone.
Select an email template and activate the workflow
Finally, select the correct template for the Send Email node.
Now you can celebrate every anniversary with a new dynamic list and workflow.
