Iterable allows you to cancel and reschedule scheduled campaigns or abort active blast campaigns. Aborting a campaign will prevent any queued but not yet sent messages from going out.
First, select a campaign to cancel, reschedule, or abort by navigating to Messaging > Campaigns and clicking on its name.
To cancel a scheduled campaign from the Review & Launch page, just click on the Cancel Campaign button underneath the Campaign Details. You will then be asked to confirm if you want to cancel the campaign. If you click Yes, the campaign will be canceled. After you cancel a scheduled campaign, you can edit it and send it immediately or reschedule it for a later time.
Cancelling a recurring campaign
To cancel a recurring campaign, navigate to its parent campaign and then cancel. Follow the steps below to locate the parent campaign:
- First, filter your campaigns view to show only recurring campaigns
Next, select a recurring campaign group you're interested in. Clicking on the group will show the list of all the child campaigns.
Finally, scroll down to the very bottom of the list to find the parent campaign. It will be labeled as Recurring.
To reschedule a scheduled campaign from the Review & Launch page, click on Reschedule Campaign underneath the campaign details.
You will then be able to provide details for when you would like to reschedule your campaign. You can select a send time up to seven days in the future. You also have options to make it a recurring blast campaign and to send it based on the project's time zone or the recipient's time zone. To learn more, read Scheduling Campaigns for Recipients' Time Zones.
To abort a campaign, navigate to the campaign analytics page and click on Abort Campaign, underneath the campaign details. Aborting a campaign prevents any unsent messages from being delivered and stop any active experiments.
