Summary of updates
Look for these updates as you create campaigns. Now, you can:

Configure the campaign in any order with the flexible, non-linear flow.

Select a message medium from the New campaign dropdown.

Configure the campaign name, type, and labels in the New campaign window.

Schedule blast campaigns on:
- Specific days of the week.
- A repeat schedule—daily, weekly, every two weeks, every 30 days, the first of the month, the 15th, or the last day of the month.
- A custom schedule that re-runs the campaign after a specified number of days, on specific days of the week.

Review the details of your campaign on the modernized review page before you send, schedule, or activate the campaign.

Identify valid or invalid content with green checks or red exclamation marks in each area.
Where is it now?
Here's where specific campaign components are located in the classic experience and the modernized flow.

Creating a new campaign
To create a campaign, use the New campaign button on the Campaign index page and select a message medium.
Configure your new campaign details:
- Name your campaign and add labels if desired.
- Select a campaign type.
- Click Create campaign.
Adding labels
There are two places to add labels:

In the New campaign window, when you first create the campaign.

In the campaign header, below its name and metadata.
You can configure the following tasks in any order.
Selecting an audience
To select the list(s) of users who will receive or be excluded from this campaign, click Select lists in the Audience area.
Configuring the campaign's design
To add content to your campaign, click Browse templates and select a template (or Edit if you already selected one).
From here, you can edit the content's details and design, preview the content, and send a proof to yourself or others. When you're finished, click Done to add the campaign content to this campaign.
Sending your campaign
Once your campaign is configured, click Review. If everything looks right, you can send it now, schedule it, or activate it.
- Triggered campaigns - To send a campaign to eligible users after they complete a triggering action, click Activate on a triggered campaign.
- Blast campaigns - To send a campaign immediately, click Send now. To set up a recurring send schedule, click Schedule.
To define scheduling options for a blast campaign, click Schedule on the review page, then configure:
- The start date and time.
- Whether the campaign sends based on the project time zone or the recipient's time zone.
- A repeat send schedule if desired.
- The date the campaign should end.
- The days on which to send the campaign, for some repeat options.
- How far ahead of time to create the campaign before it sends.
Optimizing campaign delivery
To enable Quiet Hours, Send-Time Optimization (STO), and override send rates, click Edit in the Delivery area.
Adding conversions and A/B experiments
To add conversions and A/B experiments, click Edit in the Conversions and Experiments area.
- You can select conversion events from the dropdown and search for events.
- To create an experiment with this campaign, click Add experiment to go to the Experimentation page. You must save any changes to conversion events first.
NOTE
You can't edit the Conversion events field if an experiment is configured to select the winner based on a custom conversion event. To edit conversion events for this campaign, select Opens or Clicks as the experiment metric.
Previewing campaign content
To preview your campaign content, click Preview in the campaign header.
Or, click Edit in the Content area. From here, preview the content or preview on devices from the overflow menu.
Replacing a template
To select a different template for this campaign, go to the Content area. Twirl open the arrow next to the Edit button and click Replace template.
Saving the campaign content as a new template
You can save this campaign content as a new template to reuse in other campaigns:
- In the Content area, click Edit.
- Click the overflow menu (three vertical dots) in the header and click Save as new template.
- Select a destination project and give the template a name.
- Click Save template.
Switching locales
To view the locales for a campaign and add new ones, click Edit in the Content area, then use the Locales dropdown.
