Iterable's organization and project management features help you efficiently perform common tasks:
- Adding and removing members from an organization
- Assigning projects, roles, and org permissions
- Changing member names
- Sending invitations and password reset emails

Overview
Organization management features exist on three primary screens:
- Organization Members, which is useful for adding members to an organization, searching them or revoking their access.
- Project Members, which is useful for adding and removing people to and from the current project
- Member Details, which displays a member's account information
NOTES
- To perform the actions described in this document, members must have the Manage Members org permission.

Organization Members screen
IMPORTANT
To view the Organization Members screen, a member must have the Manage Members org permission.
The Organization Members screen lists the members in an Iterable organization. For each member of an organization, it displays:
- Name
- Email address
- Two-factor authentication status
- Creation date
- Last login date
- Number of projects to which the member belongs (hover for details)
- Org permissions (hover for details)
- Org admin status
To navigate to the Organization Members screen, click the Settings button in the top-right corner of Iterable and click Organization Members.
Adding members to an organization
To use the Organization Members screen to add a new organization member:

Click Add a New Member.

In the Create New Member window, enter a First Name, Last Name, and Email address, determine whether or not the new member should be an org admin and select org permissions.
Click Create. This brings up the Member Details screen, where you must add the member to at least one project before sending an invitation.
Searching and filtering organization members
To search through an organization's members, use the search interface on the Organization Members screen. In particular, use the:
- Projects filter to search for members belonging to a specific project.
- Roles filter to search for members having a particular project role.
- Search Members input to search member names and email addresses.
Search results match all specified criteria. Click on a member's name to navigate to the Member Details screen.
Removing members from an organization
Revoking a member's access from an Iterable organization prevents them from logging in to that organization or viewing any of its data.
To use the Organization Members screen to remove one or many members from an organization:

Use the checkboxes to select all members to remove.
Click Revoke Access.
On the Revoke Access window, click Revoke.
Project Members screen
IMPORTANT
To view the Project Members screen, a member must have the Manage Members org permission.
The Project Members screen lists all the members of the current project. For each member, it displays:
- Name
- Email address
- Last login date
- Role
- Org admin status
To navigate to the Project Members screen, click the Settings button in the top-right corner of Iterable and click Project Members.
Adding members to an organization (alternative)
To use the Project Members screen to add a new organization member:

Click Add a New Member.

In the Create New Member window, enter a First Name, Last Name, and Email address, determine whether or not the new member should be an org admin and select org permissions.
Click Create. This brings up the Member Details screen, where you must add the member to at least one project before sending an invitation.
Adding members to a project
To use the Project Members screen to add members to a project, open the project in question and navigate to its Project Members screen. Then:

Use the switches in the Belongs to Project column to add project members.
For each member added to the project, select a Role.
Click Save Changes.
Alternatively:

Use the checkboxes to select all necessary members.
Click the Add to Project button that appears in the table header.

For each member added to the project, select a role:
- To select the same role for all selected members, use the Select Role drop-down menu in the table header.
- To select different roles for different members, use the individual Role drop-down menus in each member's row.
Click Save Changes.
Removing members from a project
To use the Project Members screen to remove members from a project:
- Use the switches in the Belongs to Project column to remove project members.
- Click Save Changes.
Alternatively:
- Use the checkboxes to select all necessary members.
- Click the Remove from Project button in the table header.
- Click Save Changes.
Changing member roles
To use the Project Members screen to assign roles to individual members:

Use the drop-down menus in the Role column to select roles as necessary.
Click Save Changes.
To assign roles to multiple members at the same time:

Use the checkboxes to select all necessary members.
Use the Select Role drop-down menu in the table header to choose roles for the selected members.
Click Save Changes.
NOTES
If you're experiencing issues where your projects and/or permissions continue to change after your Iterable org admin has updated them, please check with your IT admin. Your organization may be using SSO for authorization.
Organizations that use SAML for authorization must make changes to project
and role assignments in their IdP, not in Iterable.
Member Details screen
IMPORTANT
To view the Member Details screen, a member must have the Manage Members org permission.
The Member Details displays information about a specific member: when the member was created and last updated, whether or not they have enabled two-factor authentication, when they last logged in and their assigned projects and roles.
To navigate to the Member Details screen, click the name of the member on the Organization Members or Project Members screen.
Changing member details (name, org admin status, org permissions)
To use the Member Details screen to change the member's name:
On the Member Details screen, click Edit Details.

Update the member's First Name and Last Name.
Enable the Org Admin switch if necessary. Org admin users receive all org permissions.
If the user is not an org admin, select individual Org Permissions as necessary.
Click Save Member.
IMPORTANT
The email address for a member's account can't be changed. If someone's email address is changing, sometimes IT admins can maintain an existing address as an alias so you can continue logging in to Iterable. If not, you should create a new Iterable member with the same permission set.
Adding members to a project (alternative)
To use the Member Details screen to add a member to a project:

Click the Add to Project button next to the project in question.
On the modal window that appears, choose the member's Role for the project.
Click Save Changes.
NOTE
After adding new organization member to at least one project, send them an invitation to sign up for Iterable.
Sending an invitation or password reset
To use the Member Details screen to email a new member, inviting them to log in to Iterable:

Click Send Invitation (if the member has already signed in, this button will be called Send Password Reset).
IMPORTANT
Before sending the invitation, you must add the member to at least one project.
Removing members from a project (alternative)
To use the Member Details screen to remove a member from a project:

Click the Remove from Project button next to the project in question.
Removing members from an organization (alternative)
To use the Member Details screen to remove a remove a member from an Iterable organization:

Click Revoke Access.
In the Revoke Access window that appears, click Revoke.
Changing member roles
To use the Member Details screen to change a member's roles:

Click Manage next to the project in question.

In the window that appears, choose a Role.
Click Save Changes.
